ShellessWiki is a public knowledge repository documenting local independent practices. Its goal is to collect different kinds of activity points, independent spaces, temporary gatherings, practice groups, community resource points… to help more people access information, understand what is happening in a place, how it operates, how it is used, and the spontaneous processes and materials generated.

All content is contributed, edited, and maintained by users (registration required). If there are clues, observations, spaces, or practices in your area worth sharing, feel free to add them!

As you can see, the logo in the top-left corner is a shell-less “hermit crab,” a clumsy little creature 。

Attention! When citing sources, please always indicate the source. We encourage and support original writing rather than direct copying. Administrators will review content regularly to maintain community standards.

ShellessWiki currently supports Chinese/English. All content pages should be created under the wiki namespace and require both Chinese and English versions.

Important Notes:

• When creating a page, please create both the Chinese version (`zh:wiki:page_name`) and the English version (`en:wiki:page_name`)
• The page names for both language versions should be consistent to enable translation plugin switching
• If only one language version is created, the other will appear as a red link that can be clicked to create

A: Write a link to a page that does not yet exist on an existing page. After saving, the link will appear in red. Click it to enter the “Create Page” interface automatically. For example:

 [[places:mytown:market]] 

B: Use the search function to create. Type the content you want to create in the search bar. If it hasn’t been created yet, the link will appear red. Click it to create a page named after your search term.

C: Directly enter the new page path in the address bar, for example:

 https://nsjag.world/doku.php?id=en:wiki:新车间 

The part after id= is the full page name
en → language namespace (English)
wiki → content namespace (all content pages are here)
新车间 → page name (specific entry)

Steps to Create Bilingual Pages:

1. First create the Chinese version: `zh:wiki:page_name`
2. Then create the English version: `en:wiki:page_name` (using the same page name)
3. After both pages are created, you can use the language switcher on the page to switch between languages

Click the “Edit this page” button at the top-right of the page to enter edit mode.

In SW, “Delete Page” is not a button; it is done by “clearing the page content.” Open the page you want to delete → click “Edit” at the top-right → delete all content → save. The page will be deleted automatically (the system handles it).

Tip: If the page still has attachments (e.g., images), you can remove the files via the Media Manager.
