==== A Space for Making ====

On March 13, 2011, Xinchejian established its first 100-square-meter space at 76 Anhua Road, Changning District, Shanghai, making it **Shanghai's first makerspace**. For many, this is more than just a workshop; it is an **experimental ground** and a **creative club** that emphasizes collaboration. The hardware, tools, and experimental space provided by Xinchejian give both professional and non-professional tech enthusiasts/makers a chance to engage in hands-on creation (an opportunity often hard to come by in many schools and companies).
